Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Four Vines opens with an oak influenced boysenberry bouquet with hints of cherry-vanilla and coffee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe black raspberry and cherry blend with notes of oak, chocolate, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this gem with braised barbecue short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Sonoma Zin was kissed with a touch of Petite Sirah and aged in small French and American oak barrels for 14 months. This wine has a sexy nose with velvet vanilla oak tones, followed by rich, spicy berry fruit and a hint of cedar. Big flavors, yet refined and stylish. The James Bond of Zinfandel…he will seduce you
