Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel opens with a pleasant black cherry bouquet with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a juicy red raspberry with a hint of tart plum and strawberry. The finish is dry and its medium tannins linger for a bit. I would pair this fruity Zin with grilled barbecue bacon wrapped shrimp. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The head-pruned, dry farmed old vines of the Dusi Vineyard produce small quantities of fruit with dense concentration and wild spice. On the nose, bright bramble fruit, ripe raspberry. The palate is complex, blackberry fruit that slips into a smooth vanilla oak finish. Aged in small French and American Oak barrels.
