Wine Review: This light ruby colored Barbera opens with a blackberry liquor like bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, concentrated and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a very ripe blackberry with notes of plum and a hint of anise. The finish is dry and subtle. This Barbera would pair well with barbecue chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Barbera loves the high altitude and the red mountain soils of the foothills in Amador County. Like the high elevation vineyards in Italy, this is where Barbera sings. Enjoy its siren song... For the Rogues of the Vine only.
