Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Zin was one of the highly regarded wines in our recent big blind tasting. It opens with a fragrant boysenberry nose with a hint of cherry, oak and truffle. On the palate, it is medium bodied, nicely balanced, fruit forward, and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry with notes of vanilla oak and milk chocolate. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are quite lengthy. The panel thought this Zin would pair well with veal marsala. Enjoy - KWGTP
