Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Foretell is Excellent and was very well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with an attractive kirsch bouquet with hints of eucalyptus and forest floor. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, savory and mouthcoating. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black currant with notes of black tea and black cherry. We also detected hints of plum and dark chocolate as well. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky and last for a very long time. I will also note that this wine held up much better than others, 2 to 3 days later. So, its aging potential is great. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a ribeye steak with mushroom risotto. Enjoy - KWGTP
