Wine Review: This deep ruby colored red blend from Washington State opens with a red plum and black cherry blend with hints of red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and sleek. The flavors profile is a spiced plum, black pepper, and a stony mineral blend with notes of anise and oak. The finish is dry, and its medium dusty tannins stick around for a little while. A touch of heat shows up at the end, but it doesn’t distract. This wine paired very nicely with Stuart’s marinated hanger steak. Enjoy - Ken
