Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a blackberry, black cherry, and black licorice bouquet with hints of pipe tobacco, leather, violets, and cranberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, plush and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant and graphite blend with notes of oolong tea and Baker’s chocolate. We also detected hints of black licorice, black plum, and black tea in the mix. The finish is dry, and its tannins build-up and stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
