Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Force Majeure was very well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with blueberry and black currant bouquet with hints wet slate, bramble, and a little black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well-balanced, silky smooth and dense. This flavor profile is a black currant and fine crushed gravel blend with notes of black cherry and oolong tea. We also detected some hints of black plum, nicely integrated oak, and dark chocolate in the mix. The finish is dry and displays extended fine-grained tannins. The Panel found this Cab to be a nice sipper. With food, we would pair it with a New York strip steak at your favorite restaurant. Enjoy – KWGTP
