Wine Review: This slightly opaque and ruby colored Mourvedre based wine from Force Majeure is very good. It opens with a smoky oak bouquet with a hint of acai berry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and red plum blend with hints of dried beef, acai berry, minerality and a touch of caraway and black pepper. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins show nice length. I and a few other tasters thought this wine had a very nice Old World twist. We suggested pairing it with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Parvata (sanskrit for "Mountain") is our Red Mountain southern Rhone-inspired blend, cultivated in blocks from the sandy soils of the middle and lower sections of this vineyard. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
