Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Force Majeure is impressive. It opens with a black currant with hints of cedar and faint new leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a mineral and black tea with notes of Ghirardelli “Intense Dark” 92% cacao dark chocolate. There is a whisper of fruit hidden in the background. I found hints of blackberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this wine with a well-marble ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
