Wine Review: This pitch black colored Syrah from Washington State is impressive. It opens with a rubber soul bouquet with hints of blackberry, saddle leather and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black currant with notes of oak and black olive. We also detected hints of clove, nutmeg and coffee. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Syrah with a ribeye steak or a roasted leg of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The estate Syrah typically exhibits a broad spectrum of black, blue and red fruits, dried herbs and jasmine, fennel, smoked meats and crushed rock along with very fine tannins, great length, balance and complexity.
