Wine Review: This pale yellow with a green tinge colored Encruzado (en-kru-zah-doh) opens with a mild oak and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of flint and pink grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus zesty acidity. The flavor profile is a lemon zest, ginger and green tea blend with notes of Golden Delicious apple, peach, and minerality. We also detected hints of lime and oak. This was a very interesting wine. The finish features its flavors and acidity lingering for quite some time. This Encruzado would pair nicely with a creamy shrimp risotto. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
