Wine Review: This light yellow colored Italian wine opens with a Macintosh Apple bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, shows pleasant acidity, and has some viscosity. The flavor profile is a tasty mild lemon with notes of integrated minerality. The finish is dry and rather refreshing. This wine is seafood friendly and would pair well with steamers with drawn butter, broiled scallops or halibut. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright yellow in color, with an intense and full bouquet, Luna Mater is dry and generous in flavor, soft and enveloping on the palate, with a lingering pear and bitter-almond finish. Perfect with white meats and fish, Luna Mater is the ideal companion to the famous pastas of Rome: Cacio e Pepe, all’Amatriciana, Carbonara, and, of course, Fettucine Alfredo.
