Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from the Alexander Valley is a very good value. It opens with an attractive red apple and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes oak and blueberry. The finish is dry and its tingly tannins linger for quite some time. This Cab would make a very nice glass pour and would pair well with pulled pork sliders. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Folie a Deux Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is well-balanced and polished, featuring fragrant aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, cassis and anise. The rich, elegant, black fruit flavors lead to a focused and finely crafted finish.
