Wine Review: This bright dark red colored Pinot from the Sonoma Coast opens with a fragrant red raspberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate and cola. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, soft, gentle balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused plum with notes of black raspberry and pomegranate. I also detected hints of black and red pepper and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. I would pair this elegant Pinot Noir with grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red color. Aromas of wild berries, savory dried herbs, and subtle earthiness lift elegantly from the glass. On the palate, flavors of Bing cherry, rhubarb, and pomegranate are framed by fine-grained tannins, earthy minerality, and bright acidity. This wine has an enduring fresh finish.
