Wine Review: This straw-colored Viognier from Flanagan opens with a dried coconut, orange peel and white peach bouquet with hints of lychee, vanilla cream, and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, fresh, and rich. The flavor profile is Werther's Original caramel candy and oak blend with notes of toasted coconut, pear, and vanilla cream soda. We also detected hints of white peach and honey. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Viognier fried halibut or Maryland lump crab cakes. Enjoy - KWGTP
