Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Flanagan opens with a fragrant oak and poached Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of pineapple, vanilla, and fresh linens. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is a delicious oak influenced Bartlett pear with notes of pineapple and vanilla. We also detected hints of coconut, honeydew melon, and butterscotch. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair Chard with lobster bisque or pasta carbonara. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The nose displays notes of apricot and pear blossom. On the palate the wine showcases ripe peach, apricot, and a hint of honeydew melon on the finish. This charming wine has rounder acidity, and an elegant palate feel, which are beautifully integrated. The Russian River Valley is among the top regions in the world to grow Chardonnay and Ritchie is a grand cru quality vineyard site.
