Wine Review: This yellow gold colored Chardonnay from Flanagan opens with a gentle mango and pineapple bouquet with hints of peach and vanilla, On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, delicate, and fresh. The flavor profile is a gentle oak and pear blend with notes of pineapple and almond. We also detected hints of vanilla, chalky minerality, and saline. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite a long time. The Tasting Panel would pair Chard with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light cream sauce or with crab cakes. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The nose displays pear blossom, jasmine, and honeysuckle. On the palate there are notes of bartlett pear, white nectarine, and apricot. The wine has a lovely texture and very well-balanced acidity. The light use of French oak on this wine allows the fruit to shine! This wine is made only for top restaurants and for Seabourn and is not sold in retail.
