Wine Review: This clear cranberry colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a dark chocolate cherry cordial and strawberry bouquet with hints wet slate and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, smooth, and crisp. The flavor profile is a cherry-cola and red licorice blend with notes of red plum and pomegranate. We also detected hints of cedar, green tea, and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this crowd-pleasing Pinot with roast pork spring rolls, venison, or with mushroom risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
