Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a gentle green apple, vanilla oak, and mild pineapple bouquet with hints of honeydew melon, florals, and butter. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, supple, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gentle oak influenced pear and pineapple blend with notes of chalky minerality and saline. We also detected hints of lemon verbena, green apple, butter, and apricot. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with crab cakes, baked brie, or a lobster roll. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our intention with our Chardonnay is to make it in a clean, balanced style. Our Russian River Valley Chardonnay comes from four vineyards in 2021 including Platt, Ritchie, Bacigalupi, and our River Road Grape Farm. The nose displays white peach blossoms, jasmine, and citrus blossom. On the palate there are notes of apricot and white peach and ripe Meyer lemon. Everyone on our winemaking team is really happy with this elegant, balanced Chardonnay.
