Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from the Ritchie Vineyard opens with a ginger and white peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and crisp. The flavor profile is lemon verbena, lime, and white tea blend with notes of oak. We also detected some hints of ginger and touch of butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors last for a very long time. We would pair this impressive Chard with pasta carbonara. Enjoy – Ken & Dave
