Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a red licorice and red raspberry bouquet with hints of talc and rose petal. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, soft, and elegant. The flavor profile is a very tasty cinnamon, red plum, and cedar blend with notes of gentle strawberry. We also detect hints of oolong tea and maraschino cherry. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with veal schnitzel or cider glazed pork chops. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our Platt Pinot Noir is from one of the greatest Pinot Noir sites in the new world and is farmed at the very highest level. The 2021 nose offers cherry blossom and rose hips. On the palate there are notes of red cherry, pomegranate, and red plum. This vintage in particular is red fruit driven. It is a beautifully integrated, harmonious, seamless wine.
