Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a fresh tilled earth and roasted red beet bouquet with hints of red plum and violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with fresh and bright acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is a craisin and spiced red plum blend with notes of black tea, cinnamon, and pomegranate. We also detected hints of loam and kumquat. The finish is dry and dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with Jiko's wild boar, seared duck breast, or lamb stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
