Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a Bartlett pear, pineapple and baked apple bouquet with hints of florals, oak and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, bright and savory. The flavor profile is a gentle oak influenced pear and with notes of lime and pineapple. We also detected hints of lemon pith and nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this Chard with Emeril's crab cakes or a grouper po-boy sandwich. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 Flanagan Chardonnay RRV is primarily a blend of the Bacigalupi Vineyard and the younger vine vinification from Ritchie Vineyard. We included a small amount of Platt Vineyard fruit and that provides a thrilling lift to the acidity in the wine. The nose shows notes of citrus blossom, jasmine, and Herbs de Provence. On the palate the wine has key lime, limestone, and toasted almond. The wine has a very fresh acidity and an elegant minerality.
