Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan is very good. It opens with a very inviting cola and pomegranate bouquet with hints of black raspberry, black cherry, and mushrooms. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with light acidity. The mouthfeel is round, soft, and balanced. The flavor profile is tasty mineral and tart red plum blend with notes of gentle oak and red raspberry tea. Hints of loam and mushrooms. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a while. The Panel would pair this Old-World styled Pinot with coq au vin, grilled Colorado lamb chops or with a garlic and rosemary roast pork loin. Enjoy - KWGTP
