Wine Review: This medium gold colored Chardonnay opens with a pineapple and lemon zest bouquet with hints of vanilla, pie crust and banana. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with zippy acidity. It is also round and quite mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lemon and hazelnut blend with notes of pineapple, nutmeg and saline. We also detected some hints of almond and oak mixed in. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. The Panel would pair this Chard with a seafood casserole or a pan-fried rainbow trout with butter or even a halibut crudo. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 Bacigalupi Chardonnay has a nose of citrus flowers and Tahitian vanilla. The palate opens with bright lemon zest, a fresh acidity, and a nicely integrated barrel note with a hint of spice. We believe in letting each site express itself. That means that each of our wines has a barrel program and wine chemistry unique to that vineyard site in a given vintage.
