Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan is impressive. It opens with an inviting red plum and mild cedar bouquet with hints of wet stone and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of loganberry, mild graphite and red plum. I also detected hints of craisin, oak, and oolong tea blended in. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Excellent Pinot would pair well with a pork roast with sweet sausage, fruit and nut stuffing. Enjoy – Ken (Sold only at the winery or via special insider tastings)

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 Flanagan "Beauty of Three" Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast offers an expressive nose of orange blossom, and black tea. On the palate the wine has very fine tannins, racy acidity, and displays pretty red plum and currant fruits along with a compelling black truffle note. This is a lovely wine that is delightful on its own but also excellent with a meal.
