Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a mild black cherry and plum bouquet with hints of tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a tart cherry, tobacco and plum blend with notes of fine-grained earthy minerality. We also detected hints of black tea and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors, and acidity drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this refined Pinot with roasted Cornish game hen or beef carpaccio. Enjoy – KWGTP
