Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Flanagan opens with a fragrant and inviting black plum and blueberry bouquet with hints of flinty minerality and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum with notes of fine grained minerality, craisin and spice. We also detected hints of dark chocolate, red grape and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with a roasted leg of lamb or German pork schnitzel with a wild mushroom cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
