Wine Review: This deep cranberry colored Pinot Noir opens with a pomegranate and oak bouquet with a hint of black cherry and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is barely medium bodied, balanced and delicate. The flavor profile is a mild red plum with notes of red raspberry tea and graphite. We also detected hints of RC Cola. The finish is dry and its tannins initially were prominent, but faded with aeration. The wine also came together more because of the aeration as well. We would pair this Pinot with fresh Norwegian sliced salmon with dill and creme fraiche. Enjoy - KWGTP
