Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Flanagan opens with a musty blackberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate and old leather. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced black raspberry with notes of black cherry and expresso. We also detected hints of blueberry and gentle oak. The finish was described as great. Its moderate dry tannins are nicely managed and linger for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a filet mignon with a red wine, garlic and rosemary reduction sauce or veal Milanese. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2015 Flanagan Cabernet has beautiful floral notes intertwined with more savory herbal notes. The palate has a ripe red and black fruits, savory bay leaf, earth notes, and lots of structure. The acidity provides beautiful delineation and tension in the mouth.
