Wine Review: This pitch black colored blend from 2014 is a reflection of the vintage. It opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of espresso and black olive. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, delicate and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild blackberry and olive blend with notes of red currant and oak. There is also a hint of cinnamon in the after taste. The finish is dry and subtle. This wine is very easy to drink and quite food friendly. I would pair it with fork-tender pot roast. Enjoy - Ken
