Wine Review: This dark red colored Malbec based blend from the Uco Valley showed very well in front of the Tasting Panel. It opens with a unique bouquet of red licorice, smoke, dry fall leaves and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and polished. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced black plum with notes of Tootsie rolls and black coffee. We also detected some hints of bay leaf and blueberry. It finishes with fine-grained smooth tannins that are nicely extended. The Panel suggested pairing this very good value red wine with Stuart’s steak treats. Enjoy - KWGTP
