Wine Review: This entry level red blend from Fess Parker is a good value. It is dark red colored and opens with an oak infused black plum and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a vanilla oak infused blueberry and mild black raspberry blend with hints of cranberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. This wine would pair well with grilled barbecue chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark fruit aromas of black cherry, blackberry and black raspberry along with pepper jump from the glass at first exposure. Added notes of sage, smoke, leather and vanilla complete this incredible bouquet. Cranberry, black cherry and red currant combine with smoke and dark chocolate flavors that accentuate the sweet mid-palate and help produce a soft, velvety finish.
