Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Fess Parker opens with a pleasant mild pear bouquet with a hint of orange blossom and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused apple and pear blend with notes of butter and hints of toasted oak and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. The panel thought this Chard was food friendly and would pair well with rainbow trout almondine or shrimp scampi. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This barrel fermented and sur lie aged chardonnay offers a creamy, buttery, rich texture which is balanced by bright acidity and minerality, complimented by aromas of pear, baked pineapple and graham cracker. Best when served lightly chilled, this wine is smooth, luscious and eminently drinkable. Enjoy!
