Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay Fess Parker is very good! It opens with an attractive Granny Smith apple bouquet with a hint of Anjou pear and touch of apricot in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild apple and pear blend with hints of oak and butter. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This Chard is extremely food friendly and will not last very long. You could pair it with many foods. Chicken Cordon Bleu can to mind for me. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Chardonnay displays beautifully with its light straw color sharing aromas of pear, white peach, honey, apple and vanilla combining with a touch of oak and baking spices. Flavors of refreshing citrus, lemon cream, pear, green apple and pastry crust complement vanilla and baking spices on the palate. Enjoy with Poached Salmon, Meyer Lemon Risotto or Chicken Cordon Bleu.
