Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chard opens with a huge buttered popcorn bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a heavily oak influenced Bartlett pear with notes of butter and lime. The finish is dry and closes slightly tart. This Chard would pair well with prosciutto and wild mushroom tortellini in a white cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Crisp, clean aromas of apple, pear and pineapple combine with a touch of oak, yellow melon and white flowers to create this refreshing Chardonnay. On the palate lush citrus flavors followed by distinct layers of apple, honey, pear and a hint of light cream & lemon couple with great texture and balance making it a wonderfully food friendly wine.
