Wine Review: This very light pink colored Rose from Cotes de Province is very good. It opens with hundreds of tiny bubbles that appear in the glass and then quickly dissipate. The bouquet is a very faint wet stone and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic and has a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused light red cherry with hints of clementine. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Rose is a quaffer for sure. It will not last long with friends on a hot day. It can be served with a grilled mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Haedus 2016 is a soft pink-rose color, with peach highlights. The nose opens to red berry and citrus aromas, with a palate that is very fruity, with the same red berry notes, with a pleasant mouthfeel. The finish shows some lemon, is very fresh and very well-balanced. This wine is ideal to serve by itself as an aperitif, but is also excellent with white meats or grilled fish, mixed salads, paella or Thai satays.
