Wine Review: This golden colored Chardonnay opens with an apple and pineapple bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with some slightly elevated acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is poached pear and green apple blend with notes of nutmeg and peach. I also detected a hint of buttery croissant and a dash of cinnamon. The finish is pleasant and drifts away nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair with many dishes. I would pair it with baked cod with Ritz cracker topping. Enjoy – Ken
