Wine Review: This light ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley opens with a pomegranate and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. I also found it to be juicy and creamy. The flavor profile is a red plum and black cherry blend with notes of clove. I also detected a hint of cola, craisin and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors show nice length. This Pinot would pair nicely with grilled Colorado lamb chops with spiced carrot purée, and Brussels sprouts. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of ripe cherry, cola, dark currant and baking spices fill the senses, followed by vibrant flavors of juicy plum, black cherry and cardamom. A velvety texture and bright acidity distinguish this naturally balanced wine. This wine pairs perfectly with entrées like beef bourguignon or rack of lamb.
