Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Ferrari Carano was popular with our tasting group. It opens with a vanilla oak and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a rich butterscotch candy with notes of peach pit, pear and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. This crowd-pleasing Chard would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of lemon, citrus, lychee and orange marmalade are complemented by flavors of lemon, peaches, pears, honeysuckle and vanilla on the palate. This is an elegant, well-balanced wine with a nice acidity and a long, lingering finish. Our Fiorella Chardonnay is the perfect wine to serve as an aperitif. It also pairs nicely with light pasta and seafood courses or chicken, pork, turkey and veal. Mild-flavored cheeses are also excellent choices.
