Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley is very good. It opens with an attractive cherry-cola with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild cherry-cola with hints of vanilla oak and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. This elegant Pinot would pair well with a veal scallopini with brown butter and capers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This delicious wine comes from our three ranches in Anderson Valley, Mendocino County. The wine has rich aromas and flavors of cherry, black plum, raspberry, pomegranate, rose, cinnamon, spice and toasty oak notes. A velvety texture and bright acidity create a naturally-balanced wine with a lingering finish. Our Pinot Noir is an aromatic wine that pairs well with salmon, fowl and meat entrees such as beef bourguignon or rack of lamb.
