Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir is a very finesse wine. It opens with an inviting blueberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild blueberry with hints of gentle minerality, mild oak and cherry-cola. The finish is dry and it flavors drifts away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair perfectly with pork medallions with Pinot Noir-cherry pan sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This new, delicious wine comes from our three ranches in Anderson Valley, Mendocino County. The wine has rich aromas and flavors of black cherry, plum, pomegranate, cinnamon, spice, earth and toasty oak notes. A velvety texture and bright acidity create a naturally-balanced wine with a lingering finish. Our Pinot Noir is an aromatic wine that pairs well with salmon, fowl and meat entrees such as beef bourguignon or rack of lamb.
