Wine Review: This light yellow colored white wine opens with a mild wet stone and light peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a mild Anjou Pear with nicely integrated minerality and a dash of white pepper. There is also a touch peach. The finish is dry and refreshing. It is a nice summer pool wine. It would pair well with grilled lemon pepper chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ferrari-Carano's unique, proprietary, 2011 Bella Luce means “beautiful light” in Italian. Bella Luce is a fragrant and light white wine blend made from varieties that complement one another in aromas, flavors and texture. Bella Luce has delicious layers of Muscat, honeydew, orange, lychee, pineapple, peach and apple, along with lingering floral notes, cream and vanilla. Bella Luce is a delicious and refreshing wine that is perfect as an aperitif, or with shellfish, light pasta dishes and light appetizers.
