Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with a fragrant blueberry bouquet with notes of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a spicy black raspberry with hints of black licorice, boysenberry, and black currant. The finish is dry and its tannins build up and are reasonably sticky. This wine would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 vintage of Faust delivers classic Napa Valley Cabernet aromas plush with blackberry, cassis, red plums and dark chocolate. It makes a dramatic entry on the palate with abundant concentrated fruit and notes of coffee and cocoa. Balanced and complex, the rich and luxurious finish leaves you lingering for another sip.
