Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a gooseberry bouquet with hints of flinty minerality and yellow grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a gooseberry and tart lime blend with hints of minerality and a touch of kiwi, saline and ginger. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair nicely with swordfish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw with green lights. A lifted nose, showing aromas of gooseberry, passion fruit, kiwi, and underlying herbal notes. A light-bodied, dry, crisp wine with flavors of gooseberry, stone fruit and nettles, with a mouthwatering acidity, leading to a long lingering finish. An ideal wine with fresh seafood or white meat.
