Wine Review: This lively wine, primarily a Sangiovese blend, from Tuscany, Italy is a brilliant deep red color, with herbal red cherry and leather aromas. It is medium bodied on the palate with moderate acidity, and is juicy, robust, balanced, slightly rustic, and fresh. There are flavors of red cherry, cranberry, garden soil, vanilla oak with notes of dried herbs and oolong tea. Grippy tannins linger for quite a while in the dry finish. Enjoy this mid-week bottle with veal parmesan. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red color. Intense bouquet with berry, cherry and violet aromas and flavors. On the palate it is full, round, and harmonious, with and excellent tannic structure.
