Wine Review: This straw colored Soave opens with an attractive pilsner beer, green apple and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, round, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a rather complex blend of tasty pear and minerality with hints of vanilla oak, lime, pineapple and teaberry gum. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The panel thought this wine would pair well with roasted quail or chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a heavy cream sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: At first glance: Intense yellow with golden reflections. On the nose: The black graphite accentuates the complex fruity aroma, rounding off the sweet spice and leaving an intriguing sensation of dried apricots. On the palate: Sweet but fresh and tasty. Elegant with hints of exotic and citrus fruits. Accompaniments: Traditionally served with dried biscuits, ideal with ripe and well seasoned cheeses.
