Wine Review: This white gold colored Chard opens with a very attractive Bosc Pear like bouquet with hints of oak and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with slightly elevated acidity and crispness. The flavor profile is and unripe pineapple with hints of mango and some mineral notes as well. The finish is dry and rather refreshing. This was very popular at the party I was attending. It did not last long. It would pair very well with lemon and thyme chicken or bacon wrapped scallops. Winemaker Notes: This wine greets with forward fruits, layered by peach and tropical notes combined with rose petal and toasty allspice. The balance between the oak and fruit are completely seamless. Full bodied and rich, creamy hints of minerality complement the sweet fruit throughout. The finish is very long, lingering and beautifully textured.
