Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend of Grenache and Syrah is a good value offering. It opens with a gentle pomegranate and wet stone bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is sooth and balanced. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and black cherry blend with notes of craisin and oak. I also detected hints of herbal tea and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. I would pair this versatile and easy to drink with your favorite juicy bacon burger recipe. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful color of an intense bright red. The nose offers a very expressive aromatic bouquet of black fruit such as blackberries and blackcurrants. On the palate, it is a complex and well-balanced wine with nice freshness. It continues with a very long finish with persistent fresh fruit aromas.
